🔧 Pre-Installation Preparation

• Ensure the vehicle is turned off and cooled down; the engine should be at room temperature.
• Prepare a Phillips screwdriver or socket wrench (depending on the air box fastening) and a clean rag.
• Choose a clean, dust-free work area to prevent debris from entering the intake system.

🔄 Step 1: Remove the Old Air Filter

• Locate the air filter box (usually under the seat or at the front of the vehicle).
• Release the clips or remove the screws securing the air box cover, and carefully open it.
• Remove the old air filter element, noting its installation orientation (alignment marks or shape guides may be present).
• Inspect the inside of the air box for dust, leaves, or debris, and clean it using a damp cloth or vacuum.
• ⚠️ Caution: Be careful not to shake dust into the intake duct (the hose leading to the engine).

🧽 Step 2: Install the New Air Filter

• Remove the new air filter element (0GSV-112000-3000) from its packaging and check for any damage or deformation.
• Following the same orientation as the old filter, place the new filter into the air box.
• Ensure the filter sits flush with the box edges, with no gaps or twisting.
• Make sure the sealing edge aligns with the box's sealing groove to ensure proper airtightness.

✅ Step 3: Post-Installation Check

• Close the air box cover and secure the clips or screws, ensuring a tight seal.
• Start the engine and let it idle for a moment; listen for any unusual intake noises or air leaks.
• Inspect around the air box for any gaps, confirming the cover is properly seated.
• It is recommended to record the replacement date and mileage for future maintenance reference.

💡 Maintenance Tips

• It is recommended to inspect the air filter every 3,000–5,000 km. In dusty environments, shorten the inspection interval.
• If the filter surface shows heavy dust accumulation or clogging, replace it earlier.
• Do not use compressed air to blow out the filter element, as this may damage the filter media and reduce filtration efficiency.
• This is a disposable filter element and is not washable or reusable (unlike foam-type air filters).
