🔧 Pre-Installation Preparation

• Confirm the new roller weights are part number LH2V70.10.3.4 (70103), 8pcs/Pack.
• Prepare CVT-specific tools (variator holding tool, impact wrench), socket wrench, torque wrench, and clean rags.
• It is recommended to inspect the belt, drive face, and clutch condition simultaneously.

🔄 Step 1: Remove the Old Roller Weights

• Remove the CVT transmission cover (typically 8mm and 10mm bolts).
• Use a variator holding tool to secure the drive pulley, then remove the crankshaft nut with an impact wrench.
• Remove the outer drive face and fan to expose the variator.
• Carefully remove the old roller weights, noting the installation direction of each weight (if directional markings are present).
• Clean the variator tracks and sliding surfaces, removing dust and grease.

🧽 Step 2: Install the New Roller Weights

• Remove the new roller weights (8 pieces) from their packaging and check for any defects.
• ⚠️ Critical Step: Place the roller weights into the variator tracks in the correct orientation (pay attention to directional markings or chamfer direction on the weights).
• Ensure all roller weights are installed in the same orientation and properly positioned.
